Professors and law students at UC Hastings are teaming up with California’s Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) to identify creative ways to serve limited- and non-English proficient (LEP/NEP) Californians who come into contact with the justice system.  According to the University, the project is funded by a $35,000 State Justice Institute grant to the AOC to survey best practices for serving LEP court users, in order to highlight and replicate successful programs.
