According to Language Line Services‘ “2012 Outlook on Language Access,” the heretofore over-the-phone live interpretation industry will soon offer “quick-connect,” live interpretations on cell phones in 170-plus languages.  State and federal agencies that serve LEP/NEP persons in exigent circumstances – such as fire departments, paramedics, police, FEMA and many more – will soon be able to fulfill their Title VI language-access obligations on the go.  Language Line Services President and CEO, Louis F.
