Ruling may unite father with twin sons, By Greg Hardesty, The Orange County Register (March 4, 2011). A Singapore Judge ordered the mother of twins to return the boys to Los Angeles where the family resided before she abducted her sons to Singapore in violation of the father’s court-ordered custody rights. Although the 1980 Hague Abduction Convention would not be retroactively applicable to the boys’ case, the Singapore judge recognized that proper jurisdiction over the boys’ custody rests with the CA family court.
